Bowling at the Kassam Stadium

We had great fun bowling at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford today. The Kassam offer a discounted rate of £3.85 per game for any disabled person or carer and have good accessibility with ramps and equipment onsite to suit most people. Scroll right below to see some pictures from the day...



We ordered food and drinks from the bowling lane while we played, which the staff brought over to us, including burgers, hotdogs and milkshakes. Everybody bowled very well and we had a good number of people to make it a great social event. We will be doing more bowling in the future, so keep an eye on our newsletters and monthly calendars. If you've ever considered joining but are nervous about getting there or what to expect, have a chat with your coordinator who will be happy to talk through with you. We are a small charity supporting adults with a physical disability across Oxfordshire. For nearly 40 years EnrichAbility's core service has been to pair our members (who are all adults with disabilities) with a volunteer partner so that they are able to access leisure and learning activities of their choice.​ Having EnrichAbility support enhances the life of a person with a disability who is (or is at risk of becoming) isolated and helps them to become/stay integrated into their local community. This support helps prevent the isolation that often comes with a disability and also helps avoid or overcome issues of low esteem, lack of motivation, confidence and depression.
